I think think this is the perfect middle priced stroller! Before this I had a used evenflo take me too double and it was a nightmare. I had a newborn otw and a 19month old when I got that. Now I have 18month and 4month old (plus 5yo and 3yo) I knew it was time to get something more reliable that I would actually use. I spent so many hours researching these silly things trying to find just the right one. Then the other day I was walking through a store and saw the sit N stand and I actually was able to put all 4 of my kids on it.
So I went home and debated some more between the regular sit N stand and this, decided it was worth a little extra to have the option for an actual seat or the jump seat. When I got it home and took it out of the box it was very easy to set up. Just clicked on the wheels and trays etc and it was already. I found that it was even more versatile than I had hoped.
Pros:
Versatile
I am able to put the baby carrier(I have evenflo) in the front or back seat. Unlike the regular sit and stand that requires a bar to be attatched, the snack trays fold down and the seat clips onto them- front or back. The rear seat and the canopies are easy to remove. I set my stroller up with no canopy on the front and kept the one on the back, both snack trays, but have the second seat off, so I put the baby carrier over the jump seat and clip the buckles together in the back to help hold it on (even though it stays in place without the buckles). This way I can let my 18month old ride on the jump seat for a little bit, but then put him in the front when he starts wanting to get into every thing or gets too tired. Also if my 3year old gets tired from lots of walking I can let him stand on the back and have my 18month sit in the jump seat and have baby carrier on the front. Then of course if I need both seats for a specific outing I can always switch it back to that also.
Storage
Their were some reviews that complained about not being able to access the basket very well, but I don't see how that's an issue. I am easily able to put gear in from the back because it is open. I can also put things into the basket between the seats and I even set things on the jump seat under the infant carrier, or on the foot rest in front of it.
Steering
This thing can be steered with 1 hand even with 3 kids on it. My evenflo take me too could not be steered with one hand and always veered to the one side. No problems with steering at all. It turns completely in a circle or forwards and backwards very easily.
Comfort
I can't believe how wide the seats are. They are a good size for my 18month or 3yo even. I usually never recline my kids in there seats so I can't comment on this feature. Aside from that the seats are also strong enough to hold their shape. They have sufficient padding and my children always seem comfortable.
Cons:
Little bit heavy
Feels a little long and a little wide(but not excessively so)
Overall
I am 100% satisfied with this stroller and wish I had bought it when #3 was born. It is easy to open and collapse. My favorite things about it are that it is easy to push and that it can be changed to fit my needs.
****UPDATE 3-8-2012
I am sad to say that I recently sold this stroller on craigslist. My little guy no longer needs to ride in the stroller. However out of the 7 strollers I have owned and 2 more that I have used/pushed this is by far the best one. Even with frequent use for a year it almost looked new when I sold it. It was so sturdy and easy to use and well made. I have gotten a chance to compare it to the regular sit and stand since my friend owns one, and this model is way better; much easier to push, along with not needing that silly bar attached and the option to have 2 seats. Even though I don't really need this stroller anymore I still find my self missing it a little.
