We really like this stroller. We bought it on sale at Babies R' Us for just under $50 and so far it's been great!

It steers very easily, turns with one hand and folds very easily as well. I can even fold it with one hand - not quite as easily and smoothly as our much more expensive Inglesina Zippy, but still quick and easy!

I love the reclining mechanism for the seat - it is smooth and easy to adjust (unlike so many other umbrella type strollers that use a complicated strap - this one is on a zip pull with a button you push in and a slider that goes up and down.

The basket is HUGE - it has plenty of space for shopping bags, purse, or diaper bag.

The child tray is nice - maybe a little high for a smaller baby, but great for a toddler and will hold a sippy cup or bottle and a snack. The parent tray has a small center section that could hold a cell phone & keys, and 2 cups holders - one looks shaped to hold a travel mug for coffee, though we've never used it for that.

Locking mechanism is easy and smooth as well.

The only thing I don't like about it is the handle covering is kind of a ribbed rubber like substance which was not comfortable for me at all. I easily solved this problem by purchasing a set of carseat strap covers for about $7 at Babies R' Us - they wrap perfectly around the handle bar on either side and make it much nicer to push!!

We are planning on using this as our travel stroller for our international trip in a few weeks, and I expect it will perform well.

While It is not a "Rolls Royce" of strollers, for a lightweight. inexpensive, occasional to fairly regular use stroller I think it was well worth the $50!!!

As a mom of three and having owned a wide variety of strollers over the years I love the way this stroller looks and rolls out of the box. To me, this is such a lightweight, easy to fold, unfold and load into the trunk item. It rolls so smoothly and turns on a dime. The parent holder looks so cool and CAN be WASHED!! My three year old son fit well on the back seat and the smile he had on his face when I pointed out the handles so he could stand securely on the back told me he'll actually stay on this in the mall. My six year old, 43 pound daughter rode on the back with no weight in the front seat and the stroller felt sturdy and not at all like tipping back. Out of the box this beats any of the Peg Perego or Graco strollers we've owned in the past. I'll update this review after I've used it with the new baby on the front and put some miles on this wonderful stroller!

12/20/2008 After using this stroller for over a year and a half I still love it. My now just turned five year old loves to sit or stand on the back and I almost never have to fight to get him to stay on it. Practically, my older child has to sit a little hunched forward when the baby's sleeping and it's reclined all of the way back, but he can stand with no problem. Also, it's a little hard to get my diaper bag in the attached storage area, but that's just me being picky. The parent storage is wonderful and I'm so glad I have the zippered area for keys and can put my phone and drink and other stuff safely tucked away. Airline boarding passes fit perfectly! 1 1/2 years later it still pushes effortlessly and is perfect rounding clothes racks a the mall and navigating at restaurants. I love my stroller and still recommend it to people that ask about it.

This adorable stroller came nearly assembled and is easy to use. For an umbrella type stroller, it has a lot of the features of their large regular stroller (which we have as well, but much more sophisticated). The umbrella style has the child tray, a sun shade which is not huge and won't shield from sun unless you're walking the right direction, but many umbrella's don't have any at all. It also has an ample net basket beneath and the European handles are actually a real plus. The seat back and foot rests are adjustable. Spills clean up easily. Goes neatly into the trunk of your car. All-in-all, I am extremely happy. I got the very pretty girly pink and for the price, I'd buy the same one again.

The larger model is absolutely creme-de-la-creme (more features than they advertise and more than expected) once we got it put together, but the instructions really were the absolute worst. The umbrella is absolutely sufficient for all one's needs and if there was a NEXT time, I would just go for the umbrella type.

I debated which stroller to buy via online reviews and decided to just go to a big box store and take a look at them. The store only carried Maclaren, Jeep and Chicco (no UPPAbaby or Britax). Here is what I found:

I looked at the Maclaren Quest, Triumph and Volor, Jeep Reclining Umbrella, Chicco C6. I narrowed it down to the Quest and Triumph and ultimately picked the Triumph based on color =)

Maclaren Quest Sport Stroller, Coffee/Sky Blue
Maclaren Triumph Stroller, Charcoal/Silver
Maclaren Quest and Triumph: Very similar to each other, differences noted here. Both reclines to same spot, Quest only has two positions, Triumph can be reclined to any position between fully upright and fully reclined. That said it doesn't recline all that much. The two positions on the Quest would be sufficient. My four month old (13lbs) fits fine in either stroller. I did add a padded headrest (the ones they sell for car seats) just to make her a little more secure. The stroller still folds up with the headrest in it. The Quest has an extended foot pad. It will keep wind, etc... off babies legs once they are long enough to hang off. The actual seat size isn't any different. The big functional difference between the two is that the Quest had a pocket on the canopy (between the handles). The pocket is large enough to hold a wallet, cell phone and keys (not much else). Has a velcro closure. Quest also has a couple of small side pockets - not sure what you would put in them though. You can buy stroller organizers for $20 that will attach to the Truimph which include zipper pockets and cup holders.

Maclaren Volo Stroller, Black
Maclaren Volo: Is 2 lbs lighter than Quest and Triumph. The thin mesh seat made me nervous about how well it would hold up and that it would be too cold for baby on slightly chilly days. Also doesn't recline. For $30 more I thought it was worth the recline feature and slightly heavier/cushier seat. The weight savings didn't seem all that significant over the Triumph or Quest.

Jeep All-Weather Reclining Umbrella Stroller, Pink
Jeep Umbrella Stroller: Just felt junky and not well made.

Chicco Ct0.6 Capri Lightweight Stroller, Tangerine
Chicco: Felt relatively high quality but at 5'7" I kicked the wheels while walking. Wouldn't be able to stand that. The blue and black are cute but the orange is hideous and I love orange. It is a very bright almost neon orange. Nice that is comes with a carrying bag.

Wish I could have looked at a Britax and UPPAbaby but I liked the Maclaren so much that I decided to just go with it!

We bought this to use for power walks around the neighborhood and to take it onto hard-packed hiking trails. It has far exceeded my expectations. We may use it to replace the regular double stroller we keep in the back of the minivan.

Also, I don't have the problem with the wobbly front wheel some have complained about (read the tip below).

PRO's:
- Extremely smooth operation
- Kids LOVE to ride in it -- especially when I run over bumps!
- Seats seem very comfortable
- Seats are adjustable from a slight recline to full recline by adjusting a pull strap (very easy to adjust), so kids can take a nap if needed
- Each seat has a mesh side pocket for snacks, etc.
- Seat belt harness is easy to clip on and very adjustable
- Seat bottoms are tilted back a bit so the child sits comfortably cradled in the seat (unlike many other strollers and bike trailers)
- Stroller folds over quickly and easily for storage/transportation
- All wheels can be easily removed with quick release
- Canopy is fully adjustable to block the sun, even if it's head-on
- Canopy has an openable cover to reveal a peek-through sunroof so parents can see the kids while pushing
- Assembly took 5 minutes -- easiest assembly I've ever had for an item this size
- Front wheel has a metal swivel lock pin (not just a plastic clip)
- Plenty of storage under seats and behind seatbacks
- Comfortable handle and a safety wrist strap
- Two parent cup holders and a storage compartment
- Plenty of toe clearance to the rear axle (you won't kick it while power walking)

CON's:
- Underseat storage has a center divider, so it's two long skinny compartments -- not good for a larger diaper bag
- Even when fully upright, the seats are reclined a tiny bit more than I would like -- not bad, but should have been able to go a bit more upright
- Safety wrist strap seems a bit short (still need to test it out)
- Doesn't have a DVD player... It's a joke! =-)

TIP:
For those that experience the wobbly front wheel, try this -- There's a nut under the plastic footrest that fastens the front fork onto the frame. Tighten that bolt down a little bit so the front fork has a little resistance in turning -- not too much so it prevents you from turning easily, but just enough so that it doesn't freely swivel.

While checking out the stroller at the store, I noticed the front wheel was wobbly, as some other reviewers commented. I bought the stroller anyway because it was still the best one I found. When I pulled the new stroller out of the box, I noticed that the front fork was a bit tighter than the one at the store, but it had no front wheel wobble. From a mechanical perspective, it makes sense that a little resistance in the swivel will prevent wobble.

This is an awesome product. It has kept my little one entertained whenever we are in her stroller. I love the snack compartment. It's easy for her to open and grab her snacks all by herself. She loves to press the leaves to listen to the music. The only negative thing that I could say about it is that the volume is very loud. There should be some control over the volume but there isn't. Sometimes if we are indoors somewhere it is too loud. I am still very satisfied with it and would recommend it to a friend.
